Does Ultimate Iceman Burn AM Work?

Does it indeed?  The proof is always in the ingredients–so forget marketing blurb, beefcake graphics and the supreme hype of cleverly strung together words.

Ultimate Iceman Burn AM is marketed as “THE ULTIMATE FAT BURNER.” (Figures.) It claims the following:

• Burn AM is a phenomenal way to jump start both the metabolism and the mind!
• BURN AM is a precise combination of ingredients including Tyrosine AKG and Ginkgo designed to enhance mental clarity, coupled with a nice boost of caffeine to further help your mental and physical motivation!
• To support/enhance a healthy metabolism, we have added Citrus Aurantium. Yohimbe, and Coleus. Guggul Lipid Extract can also help to support healthy thyroid function.

Here’s the thing–I could find very little information on this product–no official website–not much at all really. 

It’s a “product of mystery.”

Ultimate Iceman Burn AM Ingredients

• Tyrosine AKG 250mg-for thyroid health and mood.
• Caffeine 300mg-for metabolic and energy increase and fat burning.
• Cha De Bugre 150mg-popular Brazilian stimulant.
• Citrus Aurantium (30%) 100mg (30mg Synephrine HCL)-marketed as a “safe ephedra” for its ability to raise metabolism without negatively effecting heart rate and the nervous system.
• Ginkgo Biloba 24/6 Extract 100mg-for focus and memory.
• Ginger Root Extract 100mg-works by helping the digestive process so you lose weight faster.
• Cayenne Pepper Extract 100mg-improves circulation and dilates blood vessels so fatty acids can be carried to the tissues faster for burning.
• White Willow Bark 100mg-a natural aspirin that may improve thermogenesis when combined with other weight loss ingredients (see below.)
• Calcium Carbonate 100mg-for healthy bones, but Calcium (particularly from an increase in eating dairy products) may also expedite weight loss.
• Coleus Forskohlii (20%) 100mg-nourishes the thyroid.
• Yohimbe Bark Extract (8%) 75mg-raises metabolic rate by stimulating the central nervous system.
• Guggul Lipid Extract (99%) 20 mg-for improved thyroid health and to regulate appetite.

I like the individual dosages, and the thyroid ingredients.  Healthy weight loss is optimized with a healthy thyroid. 

It seems though that the manufacturers are trying to recreate an ECA (Ephedra, Caffeine and Aspirin) Stack (an effective and proven weight loss mechanism) through use of CITRUS AURANTIUM, Caffeine and Aspirin (White Willow Bark) which won’t work nearly as effectively.

These aren’t bad ingredients though–even though there isn’t an abundance of clinically proven ones.

Research

Research has been positively conducted on Citrus Aurantium, Coleus Forskohlii and Guggul.  These are excellent, clinically proven weight loss ingredients.  But I would question whether the dose is high enough.

Side Effects of Ultimate Iceman Burn AM

300mg of caffeine is HIGH.  I would qualify this as an ‘extreme’ dose not a (quote) “nice boost.”  If you’re sensitive to stimulants, beware.  You could experience side effects like:

• The jitters
• Dizziness
• Nausea
• Racing heart rate
• Stomach upset
• Weakness
• Restlessness

Or if you’re like me (and have had three Pepsi’s before 10 a.m.), you won’t be affected at all!

Here’s the thing–I couldn’t find an official website–and I looked all over.  I did find a link to Ultimate Iceman Chuck Riddell–a legend in pro-fighting–but no supplements were listed on his Facebook page. 

It’s a bit of a mystery…

Buy at the cheapest price possible.  $23 is not bad at all for some of the ingredients you’re getting in the Ultimate Iceman Burn AM formula.  But you don’t want to go more expensive than that.
