We definitely endorse the Acai Berry as being a great ingredient for a weight loss supplement. It has so many added benefits to your health such as detoxification, weight loss, some cancer fighting agents, etc. We know that the acai berry is a great additive for a supplement.

After research on Vital Acai, we were unable to verify if the Acai Berry was the only ingredient in the product. Nothing else was mentioned and it appears from the name and pictures that it is a stand-alone – 1 ingredient product.

Now they may have found a great additive, however, there are many ingredients that can be added to the acai berry to give you the great results of the berry as well as more powerful weight loss and appetite suppressant. This product will not make our top 3 list as long as it is 1 ingredient product. There are too many other great things that can be added for better and quicker results.

Vital Acai also offers a free trial of their products. We have decided that nobody offers an actual “free” trial anymore. They are all hidden under autoships and full-price payments when all is said and done. As with many other products, the free trial is for 15 days. If nothing is done on the end of the consumer, they are charged a full price of $78.91 for the bottle and one bottle every month after that at the same price.

That is one of the highest priced diet pills that we have reviewed and is entirely too much money to pay for an Acai Berry extract! We have listed our top 3 rated diet pills below and know that they are a much better investment for your time and money.

I started Vital Acai a week ago no change no nothing I will be on the automatic payment and I am worried I made a mistake I will give it a month or so and see what happens. Has anyone had any results on this?

i stated using vital acai 1200 2 days ago i dont eat any different and i still do my daily work out and i have not lost any weight i stepped on the scale and i gained 3 pounds i freeked i dont think this pill works! has anybody had any results?

I think Vital Acai has been working for me. I didn’t really see many results in the first couple weeks, but I did notice that I was having more regular bowel movements. But now I’ve been taking the product for nearly 3 months and I have lost about 20 pounds. I am exercising and eating better, but since I started taking Vital Acai, I definitely have more energy and feel healthier.

I did the trial offer of Vital Acai and figured out quickly that they only give you 15 days which is not enough time to test a product like this. I got in touch with them and have been emailing with a very nice lady who gave me an extention, but after almost 2 weeks I’ve seen no results and in fact I feel more bloated, I think I’ve actually gained weight, and my bowel movement has decreased! She actually let me cancel and also let me keep the remainder of the product. But I don’t think I’m going to keep taking it because I’ve worked too hard on Weight Watchers to lose weight and this stuff is just making me put it back on. It shouldn’t take 3 months of using some unknown pill to see results. Good eating habits and regular exercise are the key to weight loss, but of course we all want a quick fix. I’m as guilty of that as anyone. It doesn’t work in the long run because you haven’t really learned anything about changing your bad habits.

I think Vital Acai is a rip off. They try to get you to try the product and will only charge you $1 shipping.
I was suspicious because they wouldn’t let you pay with paypal. They have your credit card number and will charge you over $70 every month unless you cancel. They only real way to lose weigh is to eat right. I have tried all kinds of gimicks and looking for a quick way to lose weight. If you exercise you will have more energy and be healthier. Save your money!

i sent for the product and they sent me one bottle and they were to sent me another bottle of vital acai pure concentrated but they never sent it to me. Every time i call all i get is music and (ur call is very importance to us ples. hold some one will be with soon. No one yet)i will call an have the payment stopped

I ordered the free trial and just before the end of the 15 day trial period I tried to call the 800 number and was put on hold for 15 minutes. After that period I hung up because it looked like there would be no answer to my call. I tried twice more to contact the 800 number and found the same result as the first call. Luckyly, my credit card was cacelled so they can not charge me for what I do not want to continue.

I ordered the “free trial” and was shocked to see the insert that came with the product about the $78.91 automatic payment after just 15 days. I’ve been trying to call them but get no answer. I’ve left a voice mail and no one has returned my call. I finally opened up a dispute with my credit card company’s backing, since this was false advertising and I do not agree to their terms. I agree in that 15 days (from the order date) is not enough time to see any results. If they would state their terms up front, the would avoid such problems as I am more than ready to give them.

Put in an order and then tried callling a phone number for the freeby. The number is phony!!! Its 1-888-513-5775. The gal at the number said they dont handle Vital Acai!! Will call the BBB in the am.

I was in the same boat as well. I actually got charged for $89.31. I called the 800# and I was able to get hold from the customer service. I told her that I want to cancel the order. She cancelled the same day and I was told that it will take 7-14 business days to get my money back. So, I called yesterday 12/2/08, to f/u the status, I spoke someone from the customer service and told me that the transaction has been cancelled that day when I called to cancel. It took 15 mins. for me to wait and finally speak someone.
Another thing, I want to share with you, is to make sure you called the other phone #. This company “Purefit” has nothing to do with the other company because they will charge you $29.99 on top of the other charges.
This is definetely a SCAM!!!!! because as soon as you signed up for the trial they will automatically enroll you with a bunch of program.

Well – I guess I joined the rank of ‘STUPID’. I should of known it was a scam. Anything that sounds too good to be true – usually is. Only $5.00 – then you get your package and it jumps automatically to $80.00 for the following months supply of which you do not even want! A SCAM!

I decided to try the “trial plan” and in less than one week received the next shippment at the $78 charge! Not only did I not see any improvment but according to the blood work done by my doctor I now need more bloodwork as it seems that my liver got inflamed from something & in 2 weeks I have to have an abdomnal ultrasound to see what the problem is, I have not been able to get ahold of anyone on the phone & being retired I can’t afford t be ripped off like this! If anyone knows how to deal with this pleas tell me!

This is a rip-off big time. They advertise free-trial for $1.00 and then bill you some $73.00 dollars. I am paying the dollar on my credit card and authorizing my bank not to accept any more charges from this company. I will not pay another penny. I am returing the pills to the address on the bottle. Do not “I REPEAT” send me anymore pills.

Tried this for 2 weeks, no results & it’s too late to get a refund. 15 days from the order date is not long enough to try the product & return it!! I cancelled the auto-ship after a 20 minute phone wait. Even if it works before I finish the bottles, I’ll reorder from someone who has a better refund policy.

I accidently order Vital Acai,hoping it would work, but after reading the reviews, there is no one losing weight. Does anybody know what to do if these phony people don’t answer the phone? Should I notify my credit card company and make a stop payment or what?

I just recived my vital Acai and read the flier that came with the pills and i feel ripped off!!they will bill you if you do not cancell within 15 days of you order date not recieved date. How can we see results in 15 days? if thats true we should be afraid of what we are taking. They don’t tell you about the continueous shipping @$78.91 +4.95 shipping. BEWARE of those free trials, nothings free..

I have tried the Vital Acai pills as well. I used them and then discovered the automatic charge for the pills I used for 78.91. It is a real scam since there is no way to reach the company and the $4.95 charge I thought was for the first trial period was also charged on the first of the month. There were no results in 15 days of course and after taking them longer now, still no results. I called the number on my charge bill and they will refund NOTHING. Only stop sending it. LESSON LEARNED……….

I got through on this number too1, 1-888-513-5775, but they just said they could do nothing because it was past the 15 day trial, they just cancelled the account and will send no more. Some one must have hit me with a dummy stick…………….

I’m with you Angie. I have been trying to get intouch with them every sense I got my order. To no avail. The line is never answered. I have been trying to cancel my order for the longest. They should let you know up front that you will be billed at a later date for continueous shipments if that’s what you would want.

Ditto on the misleading offer of a free month trial! I too read the insert and found the info about the 15 day cut off date. Thankfully I called and they canceled my account. I did start taking it and I don’t feel well. It is giving me heart palpitations and I have a weird feeling of tension and nausea in my upper digestive area. So, I’m not going to take anymore. It’s only been a few days but I’m afraid to go any further. Maybe there’s something else in there like ephedra. All these bad reviews have convinced me that this is not good for me!

I ordered Vital Acai through Supreme Brands which is a reputable site. The pills caused me to go to the doctor for constipation. I called and cancelled and shipped the unopened package back to them and got a $60 refund. There was a $15 restocking charge. I got through right away and was quite pleased with how easy it was to cancel, I also got an email stating cancellation.

I decided to try the free trail wich is really not free the $4.95 is just to ship to you and if you call to cancel they will try to sell for $20 they say that is for 15 days but is really not it counts by the day they ship the order on my case I just got 3 days after ship so I can keep 10 pills and return the other 20 wich they will close the botle and sell to somebody else that is not clean and responsable as for the pills I don’t think I’ll try since I was told about that when
I call to cancel.

I received the FREE vital Acai and after reading the small print, immediately cancelled the product. I received a cancellation confirmation # and date of cancellation. They totally disregarded that, charged me for the so called 30 day free trial AND sent more and charged me another $83.86. My phone calls and emails were in vain. Maybe the State Attorney General will be my next step! Don’t get caught in their SCAM!!!!

I order Vital Acai and have only taken it a few days so don’t have anything to say about how it works. I was disapponted in the “No so Free” Trial offer and did not like the idea of a company having my credit card information so I called to cancel. I got through right away and had not issues canceling. The gentleman first tried to offer me the product for $19.95 if I would keep it and try it for a little longer but I declined his offer. He put me on hold for a moment, came back and confirmed my e-mail address to send the cancellation to and then as we were hanging up he said “My supervisor was on the line during our call and has advised that you can keep the product at no charge and do not have to send it back” Yeah Right! It was kind of funny but I did get it cancelled without a problem.

They said I agreed to the fee when I clicked on the agree to terms. Somehow I don’t remember that. Anyway I cancelled but now they say I have to pay to ship the product back. They get you either way

Order the product on 12/28 received on 1/16 – now I see a charge on my credit card for $79.90 – I called, they did cancel my order and send me an e-mail confirmation. However because its past 15 days they wont refund my money I haven’t even opened the package yet – I am awaiting a supervisor to get back to me.

Thank God that I didn’t open the two bottles that were supposed to be free. Do I just send them back to the Supreme Brands address in La Jolla, CA 92037? I can’t find where I put the original shipping package that it came in so I do not have the actual return address. I don’t want to assume anything again.

I actually Ordered the product and canceled on like day 14. Was a good 20-30 min wait on the phone but i got through. To avoid all their stupid questions i told them that i ordered it for my roommate, and if he wants to continue use, he can order it himself (even though it wasnt true and they canceled it. I then noticed later that month that i had still been charged 78$. so had to call again and talk to someone to get the charge removed. i havnt even tried the product yet.

i still will probably try it because it does have alot of antioxidants in it and i already have it here.

I received my Vital Acai bottles last week. i was pleasantly surprised that they came quickly. I tried it and I love it! I can feel more energy and they don’ t make me jittery or sick feeling. I started an excersie program the same day an easy 10 minute work out and I have lost a few pounds already! i feel like I don’t need as much to eat and I have better flow in my plumbing.

Fortunately I was never charged any other fee other than the original $4.95 S+H. However my issue with these supplements is not money related – I got horribly sick only hours after taking one of these pills for the first time. I was vomiting bile and dry-heaving for a few hours. I then immediately threw out the bottle. I don’t know how much of a “scam” this is (I am sure some companies are more reputable than others) but my advise is to please read up on what exactly you are putting into your body prior to taking it. My body obviously was intolerant of this product and yours may be too.

Yes I also have been caught after 6 days taking the tablets I received a email saying that I would be charged as I had not returned the goodS, I emailed requesting an address to return the tablets however you guessed it no response at all. I will contact my bank Westpac to dispute the chrges. Perhaps it will work who knows at my age I should have known better.

I too got roped in on this scam. I paid the $4.95 with my credit card. When I recived the product and saw the exorbitant amount that I would be charged each month, I thought, no way! I emailed them and told them I wanted out..they tried to tell me I had to send unused back and I told them I couldn’t as I had thrown away. Said if they tried to charge me the $83.86 the following month, I would see my attorney as this is a rip-off. I have ordered vital acia. I have no results and I want to cancel but apperently I didn’t order from them and no one knows where I got these pills from. They are 10 pills per push out packet that read vital acia on the back. does any one else know where they came from? I got a phone # from the website and it just beeps like a busy signal the # is 1-866-899-9006. I want to cancel!!!
