I did not see any results that would make me want to buy Tonalin again.

Well, I have lost about 5 pounds so far, but I get pretty bad headaches when I take the pills.

Every body is different. Tonalin can help and that is a fact. But the truth is not even the best fat burner can take the place of a good eating habit. Don’t diet, change the way you eat and look at food as a good thing not a bad thing. Food is fun. Eat what is good for you and eat small. We all need help in something. What will work for some might not work for all. So do your home work and start with how you view food. What is food for you.

Ive only taken tonalin about a week an a half..
Ive noticed major headaches and some mood changes.

I have only taken tonalin for 2 days and noticed unusual headaches, which is why I went online to search for side effects of CLA/tonalin

I am writing you because I am continuing my research. I have been taking Tonalin CLA for about 4-5 days. The Brand is “The Vitamin Shoppe. The side effects of taking this supplement were quite painful to me. CLA is inflaming my GERD to the point where I am feeling stomach pain all day and night long. I have suffered with GERD for over 20 years. I am currently taking Prilosec DR. Prilosec DR has been working wonderfully in providing long term relief of my GERD symptons.

Additionally, I was recently diagnosed with Diabetes and Hypothyroid disease. I am taking doctor prescribed medications for BOTH illess. I did some research about the benefits of Tonalin CLA. I was excited to discover that the CLA supplement is supposed to burn body fat (specifically BELLY fat). I am now overweight for the FIRST time in my life. All of the weight deposited around my belly/ waste as the harmful visceral fat. This is quite disturbing to me.

Subsequently, I have decided TODAY to discontinue the use of Tonalin CLA, until or IF I find a natural remedy that will coat and protect my stomach, so that I don’t have to deal with adverse side affects.. BTW, I am NOT a milk drinker. I drink soy milk exclusively, for years now. One other side effect I am experiencing is an elevated heart beat and a slight head ache staring in my left temple. Is this normal?

I must say, that I am quite discouraged about the negative side effects I am experiencing while taking Tonalin CLA; because after my research, I honestly believed that this “natural” supplement would be a great aid in helping me to lose the necessary weight that my doctor has demanded. I also understand there are other significant benefits when taking CLA, to combat (or support) chronic illnesses, such as Diabetes, Hypothyroid disease, Cancer, and helps to regulate sugar levels. I maintain a consistent, moderate exercise regiment, where I walk briskly and perform interim sprinting up hills.

What are other natural and PROVEN alternatives to taking Tonalin CLA other than those listed on your website? I read the ingredients in the weight loss pills you advertise on you site. Each supplement contained extremely high doses of caffeine.

I’m thinking of taking Tonalin CLA. I lift hard about 3 times a week. I’ve already built good mass but fixin to lose about 15 to 20 lbs. In conclusion is CLA right for me?

I noticed after taking Tonalin for a couple of weeks that when I would take my second dose in the evening after my meal that during the night I would wake up with pain in my right lower back (kidney). I stopped taking the tonalin and noticed that it stopped. I was checking to see if one of the side effects were kidney pain?

Has anyone heard what affects it may have on acne, I was going to start to take tonalin cal but then I read that it may cause acne. Does anyone know if this is true or if it is just a “rumor?”

Tonalin seems to work with a 40′ walking a day. It started working only on the 40th day. I eat more than I am suppossed even desert every day and I am not gaining much, about 1 pound this last month.

ive beeen back on tonalin for 2 weeks i really think tonalin can and will benefit those who are commited and want it to work write for them the key is not to take tonalin and thonk oh im on this supplement and its gonna work the key is to take tonalin and eat write i would suggest 4 to 6 small meals a day if looking to loose weight results should occur in a week at least 5 pounds if trying to get cut up and burn fat eat 3 large meals a day and lift lift lift you just have to be commited but there is one question i would like to ask i am a 14 year old body builder and i am wondering if tonalin would be write to help me to get cut up

I’ve been taking Tonalin for about 3 weeks now, I’ve not had any negative side effects at all. As far as I know from what I’ve heard and read for Tonalin to have a serious contribution to your body it needs to be taken for an extended period of time to pay off. It always comes down to each persons trial and error as to what works best for them. To those who have had a negative experience taking Tonalin is it possible it was reacting to another supplement you were already taking?? Or maybe not enough water??

I have just been taking Tonalin CLS for one week. I have started having headaches and have gained five pounds in my stomach area. Well, that is where I was trying to loose weight at not gain weight. If anyone knows a nutrient or vitamin that is geared towards loosing weight in the stomach area please do share with me. I do watch my diet and speed walk daily. Thank you from Help me please

I have been taking Tonalin CLA for 4 years and have had no negative side effects. When I first started using it I lost 5 pounds and 3inches I am sure it would have be allot more affective if I would exercise regularly and not eat so poorly, but I have not gained any weight either. I guess my real question is since I have taken CLA for so long are there any long term side effects that I should know about or precautions I sould take.

I just started taking cla a day ago and noticed it makes me crave water. It would make sense if you take this pill while drinking lots of water that you would loose weight especially if you lift. I’ll let yall know any side effects and results in the future

Tonalin CLA = headaches!!! I had to stop it 3 days after I started. I can-t believe the site wouldn t mention anything about the headache side effect.

so i started taking gnc brand tonalin cla and have had a stomach ache and bloating for 24 hours now. reading the comments, i noticed that i wasnt the only one. at first i thought it was just what i ate, but now im starting to wonder. im lazy as hell. hate working out but im eating right and am going to start walking an hour a day since i have knee pain and cant run for a long period of time. hopw this stuff makes me lose weight and not gain it.

I started taking Tonalin CLA about 3 weeks ago. My blood pressure has always been on the low side of normal and all of a sudden I am running 143/89 with a heartbeat of 112-120 beats per minute. I have also been having chest pain. My BP has even hit 140/95 a few times. I have taken the reading at least 6 times a day, beginning when I get up to when I go to bed. A few days ago I stopped taking the Tonalin and each day my bp and fast heartbeat is gradually dropping. Today it is 122/70 with a heartbeat of 93. Considering what it has been, this is great news! But I won’t be taking the Tonalin again. It was the last thing I suspected, but when I cut it out, my symptoms began improving. And it was the only thing different I did beginning about 3 weeks ago, the same time that my readings starting going so high.

i read about it in a fit mag and thought it sounded great because i do exercise most every day but still seem to have some body fat i dont want now from what u people r saying it gives you headaches i have them enough with out some pill giving them to me. The mag made it sound so good.

Two years ago I started taking CLA. I started with Tonalin, and once tryed another brand offered at a GNC. The other brand made for migrane headaches. Going back to Tonalin, I’ve never had any bad reaction to it. My reason for taking it was the factthat I had topped out at 500 lbs. While it doesn’t sound great to most, I’m now down to 425. The increase in muscle is abvious. I’m 50 to 70 pounds heavier than others with my same measurements. In fact, I’m the the only person I know, over 400 lbs., that can literaly “kick up my heals”. The last 20 pounds was taken off with a combination of CLA and L-Arginine. I’m a truck driver. I don’t work out. I can now lift my 7 year old daughter with one hand. My blood pressure is 112/72. I’m healthier than my skinny friends. You may have to try different brands of CLA to side step the headaches, but it’s worth the effort.

I have been taking Tanolin CLA for about a week. So far
no side affects. But I will say you should drink plenty
of water and a good workout program in place I am an Aerobics Instructor and I run alot of 5K and 10K RACES.
I take the GNC brand of Tonalin CLA. I will keep you posted.

I have been taking tanolim cla for 5 weeks and I have had great results. I work out 5 days a week and eat 4 small healthy meals. Lots of fruits and vegetables and water. I have had no side effects.

I am taking tonalin cla for just a couple day with an herbal supplement called Guarana. I am 50 years old, and going through menopause which bites. All the weight gain is in my belly area, and thighs. I try to work out, but I have a demanding job on my feet all day, lifting, and etc.Try to do my boot camp dvds, and walk the dog everyday.I haven’t weighed myself, but I feel it is working for me.My headaches are from allergies.I have to give it another week to see for sure.

ive taken this product in the past and had no side effects, if u r having headaches dont blame the drug maybe u r not eating a diet that is right for u consult ur dr.that is what u should do before u try any of these products. p/s iv lost over 100 pounds trying different drugs so dont give up just keep trying

I purchased Tonalin/GNC brand today and I have faith it will work for me. I will eat right and drink plenty of water. I will keep you posted on my results.

I have been taking Tonalin for a liitle over a week ow. I have headaches and body pain and a lot of bloating in my belly area. I work out 5-6 days a week I do 45-1hr cardio 5-6 days a week followed either by a aerobic body toning class 2 days a week plus lifting weights on the other days I do not take the classes. I feel as though my stomach is extremely full when in fact I am not eating. I do not think this vitamin is good for me. I just ordered Apidexin and should get it by tomorrow. Will post again in a week and let you know what I think.

I was on cla/tonalin for 3 days and got terriable stomach cramping. Even when I cut the dose it still gave me horriable abdominal pain and cramps. I do drink a good amount of water. because of the severe cramping I didn’t really want to eat. Don’t think this is the product for me though, just doesn’t work well with my system.

I’ve been taking Tonalin CLA for about 3 months now and let me tell you something, I’ve lost 25 pounds and 2 pant sizes, I have had no known side affects, I highly recomend this product, I take one capsule of Tonalin CLA and 1 capsule of Thermo CLA each morning, I eat just about anything I want, just in small quanities, including dessert and never gain a pound, I exersise in moderation, a little swimming a little bike riding, and lots of walking. Started taking this about 2 weeks ago and have had severe headaches for the past 8 days. I never get headaches and this is the only change, I really feel that the Tonalin CLA is to blame.

I have been taking for 3 weeks now. I have noticed that it is indeed living up to its name as my midsection is becoming toned. I do have a concern that i have a few pimples that i didnt have beforehand but that may be from all the exercise i wasnt previously doing. i take 4 1000mg pills daily along with green source for the vegetables i still cant eat :) I have lost 10 pounds since January 1 and a few people have noticed difference which is what its all about. Overall satisfied

Not sure about this brand but started taking it two weeks ago and have now very sever HEADACHES! not worth it I feel awful..

I ended up on this site because I was doing a search for side effects. Ever since I started taken Tonalin (Vitamin Shoppe brand) 5 days ago, I have been having severe stomach pain, abdominal bloating and cramping. I am really disappointed in this product as I had high hopes for it but will be unable to take it any longer.

That is interesting. I am quite overweight and I have tried Tonalin for 8 months (with the diet failing to help me lose). One person noticed diabetes. I have just been told that I now have basic diabetes last week when I thought this was rather odd since I do not eat much sugar or even dessert and before when I tested my blood I was fine. I also was wondering if I was getting a more “manly” look (quite slight but I was still curious). I read that this pill might build mass, and I must reduce fat for my health. I caution people and I might stop taking it.

I have been using CLA for some time now. I have no side effects, I found that my stomach has gotten flatter. I do lift weights and cardio and I found that CLA gave me that little boost I needed to get over my plateau. My muscle definition is more apparent. I’m sure if I improved my eating habits, I would see even better results.
