Tonalin XS claims to decrease your body fat mass while increasing your body’s lean mass. If I could only have a dime for each time I heard that sort of claim from a fat burner manufacturer. Is the claim valid?

What is Tonalin and CLA?

Tonalin has been made famous due to its production of CLA. CLA, or Conjugated Linoleic Acid, is a non-essential fatty acid found primarily in meat and dairy products. CLA is found in the highest concentrations in the meat of animals that chew their cud. Cows and sheep both contain high amounts of CLA.

Some people claim that by taking CLA that it decreases body fat mass in obese and overweight people. Although there have been studies that have linked the two, they have been fairly weak links as some studies have concluded that there is a link while other don’t.
