The Weigh Down Diet Workshop Review

The Weigh Down Diet Workshop“The Weight Down Diet” was developed by Gwen Samblin. If there ever was such a thing as a religious diet, this is it. Can it help you lose those extra pounds? Let’s take a closer look and examine this “Christian” diet.

A Whole Lot of Common Sense

Examining the “Weigh Down Diet” workshop, there are a lot of good principles. The problem is that most of what is taught in the workshop is common sense. Most of the advice consists of things like don’t eat too much or we should eat when we are hungry. Although they are good little tidbits I don’t know if they are worth the $100 price tag.

No Exercise, What?

About the only one guideline that isn’t common sense is common stupidity. This program teaches that exercise is not necessary and that there is no need for it unless you enjoy it and really want to exercise. Although a lot of time, I am sure we all wish we lived in a world where we didn’t have to exercise and we could remain healthy. I am sure we all wish as well that money grew on trees but we have to live in reality.

Sometimes I am not sure if the people behind such claims just want us to feel good thinking we won’t have to exercise or it they really think such things.

A Little Pricey Wouldn’t You Say?

The Weigh Down Workshop is given at a cost of $103.00.  I don’t think $103 is worth paying to hear a lot of common sense.

Pros

  • Gives some good common sense

Cons

  • You have to pay for the common sense
  • A few out of touch claims, “No Need For Exersise”
  • Very Expensive

Bottom Line- Although there are some good principles, because it is very costly and you basically know all the information I don’t recommend the Weigh Down Workshop.

I enjoyed some of the real life examples given, but it wasn’t that informative with regards to weight loss.

Can you really do this without exercise? I am pretty skeptical, has anyone had any success with this one.

I lost 30lbs on The Weigh Down Diet Workshop. I did not exercise either. I also went to Gwen’s church and was very impressed. Everyone there from the adults to the children walked the walk, not just talked the talk. This program is more then just a weightloss program. It is a life program. It is a well rounded program about learning how to do everything from losing weight to raising your children. It teaches you what most churches leave out. Like how to live according to the word after you get saved. There is a lot more to life then getting saved or losing weight. The weigh Down teaches you how to be Christ-like in all areas of your life. God Bless!
