SlimQuick Hoodia is the latest product on the SlimQuick supplement line which is marketed especially towards women. According to the company website, SlimQuick Hoodia is “the only Hoodia supplement fortified with Calcium, Vitamin D3 and Green Tea, and is uniquely formulated for women.” That sounds really nice, but what does it mean for you and your weight?

First of all, let it be made clear that there is no clinical research on hoodia and no clear consensus on whether it helps women or men lose weight. Most appear to favor hoodia as effective, but it is important to be aware of the lack of concrete research.

Taking a look at the ingredients, SlimQuick includes a heavy dose of hoodia along with vitamin D, calcium, and green tea extract (just as promised). I always recommend Green Tea as an effective inclusion in weight-loss supplements as it is rich in anti-oxidants and helps boost metabolism. Considering the basic and inexpensive ingredients aside from hoodia, there is no way this product is worth the money . As for effectiveness, this may be a total crap-shoot as there is no concrete research behind hoodia and other than hoodia and green tea, the ingredients have little to do with weight loss.
