• Chitosan – a fiber made from shellfish that supposedly binds itself to fat to reduce absorption.  Research shows that it would take a TON of the stuff to make any real difference.
• Hoodia Gordonii – an African cactus that is claimed to reduce appetite but has failed to produce one legitimate study proving its effectiveness.
• Kidney Bean Extract – this ingredient actually has legitimate research to show it may prevent starch from being broken down into sugars by your body, eventually reducing excess caloric intake.
