The major claim is that it “burns 500 more calories per day!”  Lets dive into Nuphedrine and see if it really has what it takes to burn the extra calories.

Advantra-Z. This ingredient really is remarkable.  It boosts the metabolism as effectively as the now banned ephedra without the negative side effects to  the central nervous system. It contains Synephrine which is found in the same family as ephedra and Advantra-Z is only patented in the US.  There are good and bad things to that.  One good thing is you know that the company paid a pretty penny to put this ingredient into their product (Let’s face it – items patented in the USA are EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE when compared to those that are imported).  At least you know that a little money was spent on the product you are purchasing for about $75.  On the other hand you have to ask yourself, how much of an expensive ingredient are they really going to put in this product?  They can certainly fill the product with other items that are much less expensive and stick in this high end product for the hype and the marketing.

Hoodia. Very popular as an appetite suppressant.  From what we read, however, the hype over the effectiveness of Hoodia is overdone.  It has proven to be a little disappointing and doesn’t quite deliver the results that consumers expect from it.

Slimaluma. This stimulates the brain and tells your body that you are full when you begin eating.  It is an attempt to make the body stop eating to reduce calories before too many are consumed.  Basically Slimaluma is an appetite suppressant.

It does contain some OK ingredients.  How much of each of these does it have?  We don’t know.  There are plenty of other dietary supplements available with similar strengths for much less money. We recommend Fenterdren which contains 3 high end and ingredients – one of which is Synephrine (the major “miracle worker” of Nuphedrine) for a much lower price.
