I bought Hydroxycut because a friend recommend it and to this point I haven’t been happy with it. I have only lost three pounds and I have had trouble falling asleep.

i wold give hydoycut a B- at best.

Hydroxycut is an 8 out of 10. I think you could find a better deal if you look hard enough.

I guess i thought hydroxycut could be the answer to my weight loss problem but thanks to you all i now know better. i am dealing with seizures very often right now and am not able to take anything with caffeine or that can make you lose sleep. so i won’t be trying this one. but anyway thanks for your comments. it’s helped me a lot.

The thing with this pill is there is a workout regiment required to see these promised results. If you change your diet and work out atleast 5 times a week, you will have accelerated results.

i have been taking hydroxycut for 2 and a half weeks …i have lost 6 pounds already but i constantly feel sick after i take them and i feel like i am never hungry so i only get to eat once a day which isn’t heathly at all …i’m going to stop taking them and see if the side effects go away…go luck to whom ever takes them

I’ve been using Hydoxycut for almost 5 weeks and i see results… you just have to be willing to be able to put some work into it and actually excercise. The first 3 days were ackward because i had to push myself to eat because i really did not have an appetite for anything. I think its pretty good.

I’ve taken hydroxycut twice, once with ephedra and the second time without ephedra. It worked well with ephedra in it I lost about 5 lbs. Without ephedra i maybe lost a pound or two, it does give you the jitters but I wouldn’t spend my money on it again. Try investing in something long term, like a tredmill. Most of our problems are wanting to lose weight the easy way, it just doesn’t work like that. You need to get up and get some physical activity. Try and have a conscc
ous about what you eat too.

I have been taking it for years. If you eat “okay” and workout while taking it , you can get results, It helps me. It gives me that extra energy to get through my workouts. If you are one of those people that think you can just swallow a pill and do nothing else and lose weight its not going to work. Lots of water, eat 4 times a day and work out with weights and cardio and it will work!! You have move to lose!

I used Hydroxycut for about four months and it helped me loose fifteen pounds with out changing my diet, but When I woke up in the mornings I had dizzy spells accompanied with tachycardia. Probably the best advice is to consult your primary Doctor before taking Hydroxycut.

I have been taking hydroxycut for three weeks, work out daily for no less that 1.5 hours, 1/2 cardio 1/2 weights, do not eat carbs, only salads and proteins. Since taking hydroxycut have gained 5 lbs in the three weeks not lost weight. What’s up with that?

ive started hydroxycut for about a week, ive taken it in the past and liked my results. I’m 24 and 130 lbs and work out regularily. i decided to use it again to help shed a few lbs i gained since i had to cut my hours at the gym due to school. well last night my hands and feet went numb in my sleep and i felt like what i would imagine seizing would feel like. i tried to call out for help and had slurred speech. today hours later i still have the numbness and tingling in my mouth and i dont feel right at all. im actually going to my primary to get checked out. please be careful on this pill

i dont think the people on the commercial are the same you can eazy see that the are not the same people its all a money scam watch what you eat and walk it will come off ,i did have results on nutrisystem i lost 25lbs in 5 weeks eating only there food it was great when i get some extra cash im doing it agian

I have taken hydroxycut with ephedra before they banned ephedra. I miss the jitters from the ephedra. Hydroxycut with the ephedra has worked for me. I have as much as 25 lbs in 25 days with the ephedra. The best way to lose weight with hydroxycut is to drink tons of water and do some treadmill, jogging, running,etc. I guess i lost weight with it because of the military. Example I went home 30 days before I went to Okinawa for a yr. I weighed in at 267 my 2nd day there and a yr later I was 219 pounds and 6 inches less in my waist the day I left Okinawa, thanks Hydroxycut!

took hydroxycut for 2 wks and it gave me really bad headaches and brought up my acid reflux. did give me energy during workouts but side effects were not worth it.

A friend of mine recommended Hydroxy cut. His girlfriend lost 20lbs and he lost 25 or more. But he told me to get the powerful formula, drink lots of water, and exercise. This couple slightly changed their diets and made exercise a regular part of their routine. He also said that it gave him an increased amount of energy

But the side effects were still there, i.e. not being able to sleep at night. He didnt mention jitters but I remember him having head aches for extended periods of time (not sure if the head aches were a side effect or not)

I think I’ll consult with my doctor before buying them though, I don’t deal with side effects very well. I’m wondering which is worse, a litle extra weight or all of those side effects

Today is the first day for taking hydroxycut for me and after the first two pills I have had terrible acid reflux… I will give these pills an honest shot. But if I continue to get the acid reflux or any other side effects I will stop. I hope it works for me.

Hydroxycut used to work great, I lost 60 lbs in 8 mos with it. When they took the ephedra out it stopped working so well.

I lost 40 pounds on hydroxycut and wasnt very strict on my diet but i did run for a mile every other day…no matter how long it took

I dunno, it seems to be working for me. It gives me the extra energy I need when I’m at the gym. I feel a little dizzy when I take it and don’t move around a lot afterwards but only for a minute or two. I’ve lost about 25 pounds in less than 4 months, so I cant complain. I go to the gym 4-5 times a week and eat well. I give it a 7 or 8

regular work outs and healthy meals is what really works.
also, make water an all day drink for yourself.

I’m in the military, 6 feet, 195 lbs. I started taking Hydroxycut about a month ago to tone up and lose 10-15 lbs. Hydroxycut’s label states, “For best results, use Hydroxycut for 8 weeks in conjunction with a calorie-reduced diet and a regular exercise program.” Honestly, if I had that much damn dedication, time, and commitment, would I really need this product? Bottom line for me, I have not seen any significant weight change (loss or gain) and I run 3-4 times a week. Six pills a day is way too much for me, I have experienced the caffine jitters and I’ve had trouble falling asleep. I will discontinue the Hydroxycut, continue running, but replace the fried foods with fruits and vegetables. I really appreciate the candid feedback…only wish I’d seen it sooner, before I wasted $25.

I have been taking Hydroxcut for a week now and been feeling sick with a upset stomach. I have been reading all of your letters and decide to get off of it for my on safty. In stead of taking diets pills i am going to do it the old way work it off and eat healthy that the best way. I used Hydroyxcut for three months and lost 22 lbs. without seriously dieting. It substantially decreased my appetite and I simply ate less. It did not make me jittery or upset my stomach as I have heard reported.

I used Hydroxycut 5yrs ago, it worked great! I lost 40lbs and Didn’t gain it back until I got pregnant. After I had him, I tried the product again……no luck! I have been taking Hydroxycut for a week now. I get up at 4 in the morning to get ready for work. I take my first two pills at 6 am and then two more at about 3 pm. I don’t take the last two, if I do then I don’t sleep. I haven’t checked to see if I have lost any weight. I am really hoping this will help me in my battle. I am about 60 lbs over weight. I got hurt riding horses last fall and had a baby in July so I have the baby fat blues. With my injuries for getting bucked off the horse I can’t really work out vigorously like I did when I was in my earlier 20′s. I walk and do a few things on the machines I can sit down on. Other than that I don’t get much exercise. The only thing my doc told me was I need to lose some weight to take the strain off my knee then I will be able to work out more often with out the pain.

So here I am trying a weight loss supliment that may or may not work. I guess we will wait and see!

After reading all of these comments… I am not going to try this out at all… my suggestion would be if there is that many people who have that many bad results from one thing why bother with it at all…

I’ve tried alot of products including this one. Yeah it did work for me but after the first 15 lbs. lost it seemed to stop working! So I continued for another week after the stand still of a month. So I decided to stop taking them and all the weight came back quick! It eems the weight only stays off if you continue taking them. Im not a fat guy this just seems like a quick fix for the summer wouldn’t recommed this for some one 30 lbs.* overweight this pill if for people in good health with only a few extra lbs.!!

I started taking it like two months ago, but i stopped after a while because i didnt have time to exercise. While taking it, i felt super jittery and after getting a rush of energy i’d crash. After i stopped taking it, I immediately began to gain weight, hydroxycut had curbed my cravings. Anyway, i started taking again yesterday, and began to feel very jittery. Today in school, i felt extremely impatient. Like at 5 i took the last dose and at 640 i went to zumba. I started feeling horrible! I couldn’t see straight, i felt exhausted. I went to my car because i couldnt stand it anymore, my heart was racing, i couldn’t breath, my arms and legs began to feel numb, I started crying my eyes out, it was a horrible feeling. It was like i was having a panic attack, i swear i thought i was going no die. I don’t recommend this at all, I stil feel really weak and nauseous. It has too many side affects, its not worth it.

I love Hydroxycut. I have been using this product for years. I have lost weight everytime I have used it. I want to try the drink formula instead of the pill form now too see what results I will get. If you eat well and excersice you will be sure to loose weight with this product. I am a true believer of this product I love it. I always have bursts of energy when im on the product. A co-worker and I were thinking about getting hydroxy cut and splitting the bottle together, but now I’m kind of scared. Even if I do get good results, I still don’t want to gain the wieght back as soon as I stop! I will let you all know if I do decided to get them and what the outcome might be!

hydroxycut gave me the jitters, headaches, dizzy spells you name it. i lost 20lbs. using it for only a short time. if you don’t mind these side effects by all means use this product.

I’ve tried many products. My thoughts, side effects differ by person because each person has a different chemical make up. It’s sort of like tylenol. Some can take it and have results with pain reduction, others require ibuprophen.

I see many success stories on this blog.

I hear the warnings and will watch my body, but overall, in my experience, hydroxycut is a tool that should enhance weight loss. Hydroxycut was recommended to me and I even asked my doctor if it would be okay to take considering that i have high blood pressure. My okayed for me to take it so I did. I have since then been experincing side effects such as headaches and I feel out of it all together. I have decided to stop taking this product. I had taken hydroxycut along time ago (appox. 10 years ago)It did help me back then. When I did go off it back then I was having withdrawals. I called the company and they recomened something to help. It worked. I then had a historectmy in 1998 and I have put on alot of weight thoughout these years. I tried it again started in nov.08 took it for about 3 weeks, I started with the one pill 3xaday and then 2 pills 3xady. It did help me not feel hungry and ate less but I only lost five lbs. I then got sick with sinus infection,sore throat,cold,bad cough,and was put on antibiotic. So I stopped taking hydroxycut. I dont think it has the same ingredients from the last time I took it. It didnt work this time but only on it for about 3 weeks. Im just starting to get better from my flu/cold so I havent decided if I want to restart the hydroycut again. I know I cant take 2pills 3xady and not sure if it will work by only taking 1 3xaday. I also dont want the bad acid reflex to come back when taking it. My adult children are also afraid that its not safe and worried that I may have a heart attack using it. I used Hydroxycut for 2 months and lost 20 pounds, however, the side effects were not worth it. I work on the cardiac floor at a hospital and one night at work I started feeling dizzy and sick. A co-worker took my blood pressure and it was 198/102! Needless to say, my co-workers suggested I flush the rest of the pills down the toilet and not take them anymore. You can lose weight using this product, but is having a stroke or an MI worth it? I don’t think so.

I started taking Hydroxycut right before Thanksgiving. I do 15 min running and 15 min on the eliptical machine and lightweights. I’ve lost about 15 lbs. so far. I do get the jitters every now and then and if I don’t drink enough water, I have stomach problems. It has reduced my appetite and gives me a boost in the morning. I would recommend taking it, but maybe take a break every now and again.

I just started a trial size pack (3 tabs) yesterday morning and I couldn’t sleep a minute during the night. My pressure is 180/95. I thing I will discard them.

It made me very sick after taking them suppressed my hunger but not in a good way…also made me very nauseous.

I took Hydroxycut about 2 years ago and combined it with working out at least 1 hour every day and eating right. I did loose 100 pounds on it in a year I went from a size 20 to a size 12 but then I got pregnant and had to stop taking it. I am now back on it for the last month I have been doing everything the same as before and have not seen any weight loss. I do not know what the deal is but I am going to look for something better starting next week!!

I really think Hydroxycut Hardcore is not worth the money. The first day I took it i felt weak, like my bloodpressure was high. I got a bad headache, and i could not sllep at night. If I had seen all of the comments and side effects that this pill could have two years ago I would have never have taken it. I took hydoxycut about two years ago and after having heart palpitations i stopped taking them. along with feeling not normal and amped up walking around feeling out of my body just plain sick. still today I have heartpalpitations and I honestly think it came from taking the pills because I had no problems before. I would NOT recommend anyone to take these pills. MY sisters boss had a heart attack while taking these pills. If you want to weight please do it the old fashioned way. Save your life

Hello everyone. I am 28 years old a mother of three children. I recently gave birth to my daughter who is 4mths old. I recently started taking Hydroxycut on Monday and so far lost 6 pounds. I have also been doing alot of power walking. I have stopped drinking soda and eating nothing past 7pm. For this week I am taking 1 pill in the morning then in the afternoon and no later than 5pm. Hydroxy cut has really curbed my appetite. So far no side effects for me I’ll keep you informed.

Tried hydroxycut for 10 days lost wieght but started having erection problems, started doing research and that is one of the side effects. I have never had that problem before. Stopped using them and it is going away after a week or so.

Today on the news they said that it is bad for you liver, and one person have died form it.

I am very concerned about the FDA’s claims about Hydroxycut’s side effects. Upon hearing this I recalled why I quit taking the medication. I nausea, muscle weakness and lethargy. I walk 2 miles every morning but while taking this medication I could barely walk 1/2 mile and get back hme. How do I get a refund on this bottle of 72 tablets?

I took my Hydroxycut back to wal-mart where i purchased it but since i took more than half of it they would not give me a refund. I did not lose any weight on the pills and luckly i did not suffer any damage to my body that I know of. I will get a blood test soon to verify any possible damage.

The best thing I have ever used was TetraCal. It was the best weight loss enhancer I have ever used. No problems sleeping, took it in MODERATION, 3 times a week, worked out 5 days a week, took weekends off. Great stuff, alas, ephedra is now illeagal because some people just dont have any self control.

I have been taking Hydroxycut for two month and have lose 27 pounds while on the pill, I changed the things I ate stopped drinking sodas and just sobe water and taking vitamins,ate more white meats and feel good. I think in my opinion that your water intake play a major role in just how the pills work. Ten cups or more to flush your body is needed.

I took Hydroxycut for a couple of weeks. When i saw the recall I stopped taking it. I called walmart where i purchased it from and I had to talk to the Pharmacy first and was told to bring the bottle back and i would get my money back. I took Hydroxycut for about two months. I had no side effects, I lost 8 pounds. I have always been working out regularly but couldn’t loose any weight. These pills definitely helped to contol my apetite and I was sweating more while working out. I haven’t turned yellow (yet :-) and still do not have any suspicious simptoms. Hope to stay that way.

I took Hydroxycut for about 6 months or so. I lost a little less than 20 pounds with minimal exercise. I had the jitters and didn’t sleep well.

I stopped taking it for that reason…now I’m experiencing muscle cramps and weirdness in my nerves.

Some years ago, I took hydroxycut to help me build my body to include muscle mass and cuts. I was very pleased with the product, after having tried several others. Initially, I was jittery, but that was due to me not following the instructions and not drinking plenty of water as suggested. I also did not exercise.
After being frustrated with the product, I decided to try again and follow the instructions this time. To my pleasant surprise, I lost 40lbs, got the shape and mass that I was looking for and didn’t experience side effects. I recommend this product and I am considering starting back as I write this comment.

took hydroxycut ran a couple miles went to work on the way thought i was haveing a heart attack that was like 6 yrs ago now i have anxiety disorder dizzy spells never resumed working out spent months off work an had to see a heart specialist thanks hydroxycut how do you guys sleep at night after what you have done

Im started Taking the Thermogenic Hydroxycut Advanced rapid release caplets for 4 days and I like them so far. They give me so much energy! I sleep ok but not like before but it makes me feel good when I wake up in the mornings. I am very concerned about the liver damage but I hate to stop taking them. I love the energy!!! I take only two tablets a day. So far I lost 2 lbs. But I do a little of exercise and try to eat smaller portions. It has taken my nightly cravings away.Plus I drink lotss of water.

ive been drinking the hdroxycut advance 4 the past month andi have seen results with it i was weighting 232 lbs on july 12 2010 and now after a month i weught 212 lbs hydroxy cut gives me alot of energy that now i walk and jogg 2-6 mile a day

hydroxycut isnt one of those pills you can take and then sit on your butt expecting results… i would call it more of a workout enhancer… i lose about 50% more weight when working out while on hydroxycut than i do without it…

Are people so crazy about how much they weigh that they will put thier health at risk? So Sad :(

i had ate more had severe jitters with hydroxycut,naturally i passed it on to a friend as the caffeine content was too much not going that way anytime soon….no thanks to the makers of this product.

i been taking hydroxicut and i lost about 4lbs in a period of 2 weeks but the side effects are unbareable i feel jittery and as if im goin to catch a stroke or a heart attack after taking this pill i was driving home the other night after i took the pill and 45 minutes into my drive i felt my left arm and my entire left side of my body numb for no reason .. im only 23 years old and weight 220lbs my height is 5ft 7inches has anyone felt like this taking this pill????

Yes I have side efects from hydrohycut use.
I used hydroxycut for 3 onths and lost 22kg.
Half year lather I got health problems.
Problems are: cardiac aritmia, increased liver transaminases- AST,ALT more than twice.
Now slowly recovering.
Beta blockers are not from big help for aritmias, CNS lightly damaged.Liver is recovering but slow.
To all hydroxycut users I wish good luck.
