GNC X-12 Review

GNC X-12“Burn 12x as many calories,” is the promise that lures consumers to GNC X-12. Besides speeding up the rate with which the body burns calories, this potent fat burner is supposed to improve workout performance so you could get better results from exercising.

On its face, GNC X-12 looks promising, but I decided to dig deeper to see if it could compare to Phenphedrine — one of the top-rated fat burners on the market.

The Ingredients in GNC X-12

GNC X-12 only has three active ingredients. The rest of the ingredients you’ll find in the formula are fillers, preservatives, and artificial colors.

Caffeine is a clinically proven and popular weight loss ingredient. It works by stimulating the CART neuropeptide; which results in suppressed appetite, faster metabolism, and increased energy levels.
Black Pepper Extract is known for its ability to stimulate faster metabolism; but it has not been tested in a sufficient number of weight loss studies.
Capsicum Fruit Extract is found in hot peppers. When the right dose is used, this ingredient can help boost metabolism and lead to fat loss.

How Fast Does It Work?

Because GNC X-12 comes with such a powerful formula, most users reported that they noticed an increase in energy right away. For those people who were able to lose weight using this diet pill, noticeable weight loss results usually came within the first 2-4 weeks. But it’s important to note that these results only came when the product was used as directed.

How to Get the Best Results?

GNC X-12 is designed to be taken 30-60 minutes before exercise or the morning meal, with a glass of water. However, people said that they were more likely to experience side effects if they took GNC X-12 on an empty stomach, so it would probably be a good idea to take it with a small meal or snack.

People who reported successful weight loss with GNC X-12 almost always combined the diet pill with regular exercise and a balanced diet.

Buying & Returning GNC X-12

GNC X-12 may not be available for sale online anymore. I couldn’t find a site that offers it, including the official website. If it is for sale, the average price is usually around $25. GNC does offer a return policy, but they only issue refunds for products that are unopened and unused.

Are There Side Effects?

If GNC X-12 really has been pulled from the market, I’d venture a guess that it’s because the product caused side effects for most of the people who used it. For example, out of 56 customer reviews, 36 people said that they experienced awful side effects while using GNC X-12.

Common side effects reported in reviews were nausea, jitteriness, severe stomach pain, excessive sweating, red blotches on skin, and dizziness. Even users who liked GNC X-12 because it helped them lose weight said that they wouldn’t try it again because of the side effects.

Final Opinion

Even if GNC X-12 is still available for purchase, I don’t recommend that you try it because of the serious side effects that a majority of users experience. There are so many better choices out there that have ingredients which are more effective and safer. One of these alternative choices that I’m very impressed with is Phenphedrine.

Phenphedrine has several clinically proven ingredients that boost metabolism, curb appetite, and increase energy levels. In other words, Phenphedrine does what GNC X-12 is supposed to do, but Phenphedrine is effective and safe. I recommend that you use Phenphedrine instead of GNC X-12.

ok i don’t understand why everyone is complaing about x-12, i have been taking it for months now and it is working for me! ya jus have to remember to eat somthing so ur stomich is not upset. the only side effect i have had with this pill is that my skin turns red until i workout. but as soon as i work out a few mins, my color returns to normal and i feel like i can go for hours. not sure about it burning 276 calories, i tend to work out several hours a day. and as of today july 23, 2008, to date i have lost 76 lbs, since jan 1st..so u decide for urself. as for me, i highly recomend it. & will continue to use it till i reach my goal weight of 150, which should be somtime in the next 3 months! before x12 i would loose 1-2 lbs a week..now i am up to 3-4 each week.

remember the 1 thing ONLY YOU can DO for urself is eating right and exercising.. ~Deneen

I first started off slow by purchasing the 2 pill pack and I must say that I was impressed by the first day I took it. My workout was awesome and I felt great overall, not like the other things out there that make you feel jittery. The only problem I had was falling asleep since it tells you to take 1/2 hr to 1hr before working out. I decided to take it in the morning and see how it works for me for the day and so far, so good. If you do decide to try it, go slowly and buy the 2 pill pack first.

I dont know what the deal is with x12 but everytime I take it before my workout about midway threw my exercise I get such stomach pains. I took it again thinking maybe I just happen to have a stomach ache that day but that wasn’t the case, I even gave it another chance because I didnt want to waste my money at all but it did the same thing. I would suggest to everybody to not buy this pill and try another one if you have a weak stomach like me. The pain will only seem to last about 15 to 20 minutes but is not worth it too me.

You can return any product purchased at GNC within 30 days if you have tried it and are not satisfied. That is simply their return policy. They wont hassle you about it; Ive NEVER had a problem. However, if they do, just ask them for the customer service number and give them the name of the employee and store location. GNC seems to try really hard to take care of their customers =)
