If you are looking to lose weight fast – you’d better be a wrestler.  The reason I say this is because when weight is lost quickly the majority of the weight is water weight. If you are unfamiliar with the sport of wrestling, in order to be in a certain weight division, the wrestler must meet a specific weight, and it is always to the wrestler’s advantage to lose some quick pounds and compete at a lighter level.  Remember, you are not a wrestler.

Some weight loss manufactures try and market fast weight loss to their potential customers, but on the same token know that it is unhealthy to lose too much weight too fast.

Take Anoretix for example (not to be associated with the disorder of anorexia), their website has big bold letters from an anonymous user saying “I lost 12 pounds in 72 hours with Anoretix” but on the same page there is another bolded word Caution: If you find yourself losing more than 1 pound per day decrease the dosage. It’s not healthy to lose weight too fast and some Anoretix users have had problems with this in the past.”

It simply is not safe to lose so much weight in such a short amount of time – not to mention ineffective!

The majority of weight lost when lost so quickly is what is called water weight and is easily dispensable.  The only problem with the loss of water weight is that it is very rapidly regained.  The loss of water weight is a short term solution for a problem that will only be solved by taking the right measures.

    I tried lipozene but I don’t like it… I did’nt see any results from using it… I want to lose about 50 lbs or so and I want to loose it fast without having to stample my tummy or get liposuction… I will admit that I’m not realy motivated enough to exercise daily but I need and want to loose weight FAST!!!!!!!!

    I have been on weight watchers for over a year and find myself still 210 and hungry, and tired especially
    after 5:00 pm. Most of the time I wonder if I am the
    only one, even after all the junk I stopped eating,

    i lost over 35 lbs. i do alota of walking most pills dont work you just spending unecessary money i learned the hard way. i eat alot of bake foods and veggies and little carbs

    i have tried lean system 7, lipoburn hardcore, lipovox, wu-yi tea and every other fad diet. note to self i could have been $200+ richer..
    i have a personal trainer twice a week and i joined a gym. i am eating healthier and i feel fantastic. i have only lost 7kgs in 12 weeks but i know i’ll keep it off this way.. i would love a miracle pill but it just isn’t out there yet.. so getting physical has helped.. i managed to fit it in my 70hour work weeks too.. so no excuses!!!

    id just like say im 29 and my weight has been up and down for years but about feb this year i joined a slimming club and made an exersise plan for myself as the pills didnt work for me and a big waist of my money i was 13stone 7pounds my weight is now 11stone 2pounds and still going so all of you out there just persiver with one thing and it will happen dont change after a mounth just cos it dont work fast enough noting good ever works that fast just give it time.

    I have tried many weight loss pills.. the only one the ever worked for me, i actually lost 15lbs in a month with it was Phentermine.

    Nothing else worked.
    I tried
    Mega T green tea pills
    Thermocerin
    Fucoslim (made me gain 10lbs in a week!)
    hoodia shots
    hydroxycut
    lipozene
    miracle burn etc

    nothing worked but Phentermine. Then only thing is you shouldn’t take it if you have high blood pressure.

    I weigh 186 now because of Fucoslim and i will go back to Phentermine because i have a wedding to get ready for in the next 3 months.

    I have a regular diet and do beginners yoga and pilattes every other day. Though i haven’t lost any weight. But i know that once i get back on Phentermine i know i will lose the weight i need to look my best for my wedding. I have no side effects from it except for a lot of energy which i will be able to put to use.

    All diet pills suck and don’t work, its ridiculous how alot of people depend on diet pills to lose weight. Get your lazy asses of the couches and work out. Walk for 30 minutes every day and eat less, portions help out alot. And don’t eat after 6 or 7pm, depending on what time you go to bed.. And working out helps you keep in shape, strong muscles, more energy, It feels good as well maybe all you lazy people should try that, its a diet pill exercise lol…. Good luck Adios

    The reality is there is no quick fix. I am a personal trainer who gained some baby weight. No matter what you purchase in pills, it boils down to consistancy along with diet and exercise. What has helped me lose 70 pounds of baby weight was weight watchers and 1 hour of exercise 4 times or more a week. It can be done, just not in 2 weeks time!! Be strong, its all in your will power.

    Not everyone that is looking to loose weight is lazy. I walk every day. I work out. I do not eat large portions. No matter what I do I do not loose weight. You should keep your opinions to yourself. You should not tell people to get their lazy butts up. I do get up everyday I walk I watch what I eat but I do not loose. I have not gained any weight but I have not lost either. If you do not have something nice to say dont say anything at all. Facts are one thing rude opinions are not needed

    Well I gained some weight after having my son a year ago i was 230 lbs. I know what a big one but I managed through healthy eating and exercise to get down to my current weight of 190. I am 5’8 don’t get me wrong I still have a long way to go. I tried the Michael Thurmond six week body challenge which worked but made me light headed due to not eating any sodium just all natural foods and herbs. No, diet pill or stricked plan
    is a cure all and I think that all though it maybe difficult exercising and eating right will pay off. Also, once your body gets use to a certain routine it doesn’t burn fat the way it should.     Well i use to be overweight for so many years i tried to lose it tried all the pills to lose weight but the truet is nothing workes att all.So i said to my self if i don`t lose weight i will be unhealthy and die early. so i made a desicion to myself this year i have to lose weight. So what i did was i did not eat breakfast i ate lunch and i did not exercie i just stoped eating sugar and fat…I did not eat dinner at all either all i did was luch and drink lots of water.I use to weight about 210 at 5.6 feet..And now i weight 160 it toke me about 8 month to lose 50 pound…so we all could do it if we stick to it…and don`t give up try harder u will do it

    it is really sad that young kids are worried about their weight i was big no i mean huge and when i was 15 i started just eating healthy and walking and i went from a size 24 to a size 12 by the time i was 17 and kept it off i realised that i asked everyone for help but i really didnt want them to help so i went and helped myself please dont try and take pills just walk it really does work

    in response to jamila…that’s called anarexia…I hope you realize that once you acutally start eating again you’re going to gain it all back and then some…trust me…I know. You have to eat to get your metabolism up, it’s the only way for long term weight loss.

    I am 30 yrs old 5’1 and last time I weighed myself (I don’t have scale @ home which is a good AND bad thing) I was 150 lbs. I was 105 lbs 9 years ago before I got pregnant w/ my first child and I would like to get back there again. I never lost the weight from having her and then I had two more kids so you can all guess what happened. I packed it on. I am sick of being fat so I need to know what works!!! And cost is an issue.

    Well, I never used to have a weight problem until about 2 years ago. It seems like I continue to gain no matter what I eat (or don’t eat) or how active I am. I am 33 years old and weigh about 165 pounds. My whole life I was always very thin (about 100 pounds). Even after I had my second child 13 years ago, I was back to 100 lbs. after a couple of weeks. I have tried a long list of “wonder weight loss pills” and of course…nothing!!! I have the will power and ability to exercise, that is not a problem, but I feel that I need something to help me burn fat or calories or something. I too, like so many others am very unhappy with my body and would desperately like to lose around 40 pounds fairly quickly. PLEASE HELP!!!!

    I would highly recommend the HCG diet, The first week is mentally tough (I think because you are breaking food addictions) but it DOES work. The internet is full of information about this diet. You can go to youtube and watch video clips of lots of people on the diet and get so much information.

    was 17 and just over 7 stone when i meet my husband now 8yrs and 2 wonderful children later (3ys and 6wks) i have found my self nr 11 stone and at only 5.3 that is bad, i am all ways on the go and work 26hrs in a very phys job, i am finding it hard 2 loose weight, im going 2 try and use weight watchers with adios max pills. i am aming 2 loose at least 2stone… watch this space lol

    I have been slightly overweight my entire life. Now, I am LIVING PROOF that simple diet and exercise doesn’t always work. I have danced since the age of 4. In high school I danced competitively, which meant I practiced 4 to 5 days a week for 3 to 4 hours. This included conditioning. Yet even still I was always a little chunky. Now that I have stopped dancing so much I run 3 days a week and condition myself everyday. Yet I’m still 40 pounds overweight. I tried weight watchers and only lost 10 pounds in 4 months. And I was always tired and always hungry! So perhaps diet pills will work. I think I’ll be trying apidexin now.

    So I’m not that big, but I am not happy with the chunk I have. Since having my son I have gained a little weight but have lost a lot of weight as well. I don’t work out, or at least it doesn’t seem like it. I work for an indoor playground, and am always on the move, so that’s like a gym for me. And I stay soo busy that I only eat one meal a day, and maybe one granola bar. A low fat flavor, but I eat out at fast food every time I eat, and yea I’m a candyaholic! But what can I say, it runs in the family. But I needed to loose weight when I started cheering to be able to fit in my uniform and is what I did was took a couple of extra classes that were in the gym area, but something i didnt mind having to go to, like areobic dance, and i stopped eating meat. and only ate fruits and vegetables. I went from a size 11 or 12 i think to a size 0/3 in like 2 months.

    Try P90X it is working so far for me. I am in day 10 with 80 to go. It is 90 days of cardio and weight exercises and the right eating plan. The nutrition part is the hardest. Try it, it may be for you.

    The only weight loss pill that worked for me years ago was hydroxycut the original formula with ephedra. All others do not seem to work either. So try P90X.

    It would be really nice to hear if any weight loss pills out there work, prescition or not. I have nothing the only thing that ever worked for me was ephedra pills, which you can still get but they are very dangerous, and as bad as i want to buy them, i wont. I lost a ton a weight i was 160 i went down to 125. Im 5’7 and 27. But i was moody, and eat nothing because i was on this crazzy speed train. Not healthy at all, i got very sick. So i think the answer may be exersize drink lots of water, eat less. I know its hard because i need to do it and i have no motiovation to do so, im so depressed about how bad i know look again that i cant get it together, so i keep eating, how stupid, right?     i have used a lot of different versions of all these things. ephedrine is the best by far. ive never been fat but can get that undesirable wobbelyness to my skin in an instant. i use ephedrine to train for sport and it keeps me going longer and stronger particularly for mountain biking. the best stack i have ever tried is by far the therma genesis. it is the one with flames on the bottle. a quality product and not too expensive.

    First of all, if you haven’t read the bottles on these pill, please do. You will notice that all of them say take in addition to healthy diet and exercise. I’ve done the whole diet pill thing with suprisingly no results. It wasn’t until lately that I’ve started the atkins diet. I know it may seem hard to exclude all those wonderful foods that are so tasty, but believe me, I’ve found some wonderful recipes that make the atkins diet exciting. My starting weight was 200 lbs and a 40in waist. In one month I lost 20lbs and 5in off my waist. I highly recommend this diet to anybody with health risks.

    julia yes i agree with you and people are lazy but not every is lazy some people may not have time to get up and walk…and plus walking doesn’t help if you run it will help. Running works and tones every part of ur body… and brandy its all about how you know your body not everyones body is the same. some people just have to work alittle harder than others like me. I run every day and do those painful situps i have not loose weight yet but i just know that i have to work alot harder. now i swim and ive losed alittle more weight. I now wiegh 110 and still going strong=)

    I am so discouraged. I have been working out vigorously for almost two months and watching what I eat and still, I have not seen any difference. I am 32 and hit the gym at least 4 times a week. I run 2 to 3 miles each time on the treadmill and lift weights. Besides getting some muscle, I haven’t lost an inch around my waist. I am just looking for a pill that I can use along with my workout regimine and healthy eating habits.

    I’m with Mel Discouraged.. I’m 22 4’11 and 160 lbs I walk over two miles a day and eat well. I have cut out all soda, candy, and a lot of carbs. I have done this since the beginning of December and have lost nothing actually gained three or more pounds :(. I’m borderline Diabetic, and have a underactive Thyroid.     im 19 and like 180 pounds. i recently did an intense conservation program in the summer, hiking over 6 miles a day, lifting heavy rocks and stuff and i lost like 15 pounds. however, once i got home, back to all the distractions, i gained the weight right back along with all my bad habits. its only february, and summer is coming up.. i have a few months to make it by exercising, and running seems to be the best bet for me.. i cant afford a gym, and its effing freezing ouside, everything is under a layer of ICE! what can i do!?

    Hi all, I know how you all feel. I am in my mid-30’s mother of 3 boys and just wasn’t feeling good about myself. I’m 5’4″ and weighted 165 lbs wearing a size 14. I talked with my doctor and asked what they could do for me. I started taking Adipex 3 months ago and I’ve lost 18 pounds and dropped 2 pant sizes I’m wearing a size 10 now. This is my first month off adipex and I haven’t gained a pound back. I feel like I’m still losing a little each week. The only thing you need to watch is your blood pressure.     Im 19 and weighing 320lbs, i might carry my weight well but im still not happy with myself.     Im 26 years old and i think once you get older everyones body slows down so you gain a bit of weight. I have now started doing dancing and eating small meals and i have lost some weight, just a little more to go!

    I am Asian girl skinny and in shape. I never been heavy in my life but I can tell you guys how to lose weight. First: buy a Beautiful/Sexy/Nice/Hot! whatever outfit you are dying to wear!(even though doesn’t fit right now,but it will if you are willing to do it) hang in your closet which you can see everyday. Stop feeling depress and give up coz it’s not gonna help just to sit at home and be sad.
    Second: Set a schedule what you have to eat and exercise a day, work out Monday-Friday (for really heavy person) walk for 1 hr and eat healthy small! meal(NOT HAMBURGER) 4-5 times a day drink a lot of water, water can fill u up a bit so you won’t feel hungry too much when you eat. And Monday-Thursday (for a little heavy person) run 30 minutes a day eat healthy regular portion 3 times a day and drink a lot of water. Do not cheat the schedule you set, otherwise it won’t work for you. I want you to think about yourself if you love yourself you want to look good, you have to do it no matter what.
    Start motivate yourself and picture yourself today you could see the result in 3 months (result are vary)

    P.S. Don’t forget! Do not sit on the couch all day! lol find something to do to move your body!

    I lost 22 kilos in 3 months. I used a perscription medication called Duromine. It comes in 15md , 30mg or 40mg. Basicly its legal speed. From the moment you take one you are not hungry. I was on the 40mg and droped to 87kg from 109kg in 12 weeks. I must warn you it is overwhelming. Some of the side effects are dry mouth, head spins and being easily irratable.i used to snap alot. I did find i could not do with one every day. It got to 3 months and my friends told me i had lost to much weight and i should stop taking them. I diny even notice. There adictive. Im not on them anymore although i do keep a box around if i want to drop 2 or 3 kilos quickly. Cost $90 AUD for 30 pills. “”It was a crazy 3 moths but by god it was worth it””

    hey- i am a beach ball w/arms n legs –but not always my entire fam was over weighti dieted my entire life and was a hottie even after 3 kids and after 45 -then i got very sick -unable to exercise -and i hate myself-BUT don’t judge every heavy person as lazy- i am in wheel chair but others may have other things that limit exerecise-i have gone to the gym and through therapy and when others were losing i did not- i firmly believe a big part of what i did was mess up my metabolism–and the gal who is eating only a very small lunch thats what you are doing–been there–if you want to joins a good group i think it is tops–and very inexpensive an exercise program if you can do it would be aquarobics when i was small i was sweet-fun a good listener -not at all stuck up and attracted lots of people-i am still all that but now i must add fat and in self hater BUT STILL TRYING TO DEFLATE THAT BALL A LITTLE

    Change your eating ways.
    Instead of eating a entire steak, half it.
    Instead of eating a entire hamburnger, half it.
    DO NOT go back for 2nds. Drink plenty of water, to keep your body flushed. When you drink the water, think of your fat being flushed. ( its a mental thing )

    When you get a snack craving, go outside and work, job, etc.

    To the people with negative comments:

    Some peoples bodys operate differently from yous.

    You can probably go and work out and lose weight.
    Other people actually HAVE to change there eating style AND work out hard, and alot.

    Look at yourself. Do something with your body NOW while your young, so 20 years from now, you still have a nice sculpted body.

    Your lunch break eat fruit, or vegetables instead of fatty, and greasy foods.

    Take care of your body now, as you will need its full use when your older.

    I am 205lb i was 127lb about 2 1/2 yrs ago then i had my 1st child, after having him i managed to get down to 154lb then i found out i was pregnant again. i have had a contraceptive inplant in my arm since my 2nd child and finding it very hard to loose weight,or even stay the same weight. I would like to get down to around 140lb so i get some confidence back i dont like going to public places i even feel embarressed meeting friends none of my clothes fit and any new clothes i try on look horrible so i dont bother even trying to go shoping any more. Im in my mid 20’s 5’7 and feel im still in my prime and could still where all the nice in fashion clothes if i have the figure and confidence please please give mesome advice.

    You guys think you have it bad…try being 310 pounds at 21 years old lol. I’ve been heavy my ENTIRE life, no matter what I did, what I ate, how active I was, I always gained and gained. I’m not lazy in the slightest, I do what has to be done when it needs to be done, I walk for an hour each day (my only break day is Sunday) and I eat four to five very small meals throughout the day. Even so, I am finding it almost impossible to lose weight. I need a bit of extra help and if any medication can help, you better believe I’ll try it :D I’m desperate to lose quite a bit of weight, not only because of the physical strain being overweight causes, but also I’m meeting my boyfriend for the first time in person in a few months…and I can’t have him seeing me like this! I hate how I look and I hate how hard I work only to get crappy results, I’ve reached my limit and need some help! =) Good luck to everyone out there by the way, believe me I know how challenging it is to have to bear the extra weight!

    I was reading all the different remarks that all of you wrote. I feel the same way. I have been on one diet or another, my hole life. I am not lazy I work 10hr. days and take care of my family. Not much time to work out. but I try. I wish that I had some of the money that I have paid for those “so called mircule weight loss pills”. But what can a person do.     I used the ORIGINAL Release from GNC, seriously lost 50 pounds!! 30 was baby weight and 20 was the weight I tried to lose before I got pregnant. All of my family and friends asked how I did it, I truly truly used the Release and without it, I can’t lose it. I exercise daily, watch what I eat but without the extra help, I gain it. So, Julia, shut your trap because your opinion means nothing when you say it rudely and are disrespectful. I have a friend who exercised nonstop and still can’t lose the baby weight. Bring back the Original Release, please!!

    Hi, im 23 just before christmas i ballooned upto 115 kilos, now just 6 months later i am a healthy (ish) 85 kilos and still dropping.
    My not so much a secret is,

    I enjoy a bowl of cereal with skimmed milk every morning
    followed by a pro and prebiotic yoghurt drink after an hour i go for a swim at my local for an hour and walk back home its about 20 min walk.

    I then go to my work where im a waitress and according to my pedometer i walk just over 5 kilometers a day,

    after work i walk home which takes an hour then have a bowl of weight watchers soup, followed by a weight watchers ready meal.

    i drink almost 2 litres of water a day and have reduced my caffine intake by half.

    trust me do this for as long as it take you to get to your target weight and it just becomes routine.

    im 20 245lbs and jobless, back when i had a job i was taking a stacker 3 before i went to work and while at work i usually drank 2-3 entergy drinks ie. monster/lost/full throttle, and in a period of two months i went from 267-198 i was working a physical labor job stocking a store. working long hours getting little sleep and only eating once or twice a day and smoking a pack a day. i switched out the energy drinks for water and natural juice and cut down my smoking and my weigt shot up to 230+ in three weeks and i was gitting more exercise, and i was like WTF. im 5’8 245lbs hard working eating right and healthy i dont smoke anymore and i exercise daily so why am i still gaining weight.?????????

    i am a 37 year old with 5 kids and i have tried lipozene,slim quick, dexatrim,hydroxy cut,going to the gym, stop eating for 13 days and nothing has helped me lose weight. i wish you could come up with a pill that would help everyone keep weight off and keep it off.

    when i was in my early 20’s i always weighed around 110-130. when i had my first child i got to 155pounds full term i went back down to 115pounds after 12 weeks thanks to breastfeeding but 3yrs later i had my son i jumped to 160 pounds i lost most of my weight soon after having him. but found i stacked it on afterwards i found myself weighing 187pounds and only 5′ tall i looked like a butterball, my dr prescribed me duromine 40mg which costed 100au i was determine to not waste it i went and brought a carmen electra excercise box set and did the volume 2 twice a day as was too embarassed to go to gym i ate salads and rye bread sandwiches and 2 litres of water a day i didnt have carbs after 1pm and within 3 months i was down to 140 pounds. once i stopped doing this i didnt put a bit a weight back on but once i noticed it i started back on and lost it pretty easy. all my family are very large people and big eaters so it runs in my genes but im determined to be a yummy mummy :) good luck to all

    i m 40 in October. i was 200pounds 8 years ago with height of 5ft 5in. i have lots of love handles and 5 children. i was 50kg before marriage (20 years old). 8 years ago, i tried diet pills + lots of houseworks, 5 children and a career to attend to daily, i did lost some weight. now i m 160pounds. i wish i can lose more. i dont feel 40yrs old and i am still young at heart. i wish to lost more weight but definitely with the help of some sort of diet pills + lots of houseworks, scrubbing, mopping, sweeping and sort of…

    About 10 years ago i bought powder for losing weight.I can’t remember the name but it was just i think 3 letters Y.U.O or something simillar.It was packed in a box 15 sackets.Every day i was losing 1kg!It was amazing.Even my shape have changed.It was very difficult because wasn’t alowed to eat anything apart veges and fruits,to drink tea without sugar and mineral water no sparkles.It was American doctor,s advertisement in newspaper.The box was green and was chines letters around sackets.It was 15sackets for 5 days.And it cost about 50pound.Please,do you know something about it?I will by it with pleasure as i know it will work.Just after 10 years i gain a bit of weight which i want to avoid now.Thank you for the answer.

    Hi I know there’s a lot of talking about anrexa. To be trueful in my own life.It is the only way for me.I have try the pills,power,working out at the gym. even eating nothing but vegs and protein like fish,all seafood and NO MEAT I have become a vegatrian.Still I have fell at all of these weight programs. I’ve even try slim4life.I know that the only thing that I can do now is STOP eatting. So with that said I just decided that is what I’m going to do.today is day 1 for me 7/31/09.I will reach this gold.     I’m 22 & at 5’1 I weigh 180 lbs. I’ve been active my whole life between playing volleyball,softball, football (for fun not on a team!), dancing, wood hauling, lots of walks, bike riding, swimming, & heavy duty gardener 120 acres to work with keeps me busy! I love the country so much you can do but yet never lose weight. I got pneumonia about 3 years ago & it drained me then 2 years ago I hurt my back. I wasn’t hurt in an accident I was raking/shoveling & came in to do dishes for a rest & I got a sharp pain on the middle right side of my back (two ribs arent attached to my spine and it’s crooked & pushed in) a chiropractor couldn’t fix me, & I’m nervous about seeing a Dr. no insurance & they can be judgemental I’m too young for that or just a wuss, Well my whole body is tense my muscles, bones, and joints ache alot it hurts my neck where I can hardly move, down my spine, even my ribs are exremely tender my arms get tingly or I cant move them because they’re so tense like I did the hardest workout ever, just sitting & relaxing hurts. My lower back really hurts on car rides & trying to sleep is tough I get 4 maybe 5 hours if I’m lucky. I still exercise even though I don’t see results, dieting doesn’t anything any tips for pain free exercise? Any recommended pills to kick start weight loss? Some people can’t lose weight no matter how hard they try so people should quit being so judgemental because overweight people feel bad enough as is so you don’t need to make them any more down. I’m always doing something but yet these girls that are lazy & eat junk food can be a size 2 or 3? Not fair I wish there was no such thing as a metabolism!

    for my the best way to losse weight is cut the carbs, i was 220 now im 200 in one month and helf 20lbs, work out too 2 or 3 times a week for 2 hrsat the gym, i can’t belive but sometimes im leazy, to work out just i need to be patient, this is sometimes the problem that we want losse weight asp, and take time maybe this help top some one, i was lazy i did’t want to do that i was depress to do this, not energy, so im taking a vitamins too to help me, and sometimes protein shake milk that stop little my appetite to eat.

    To the lady that says she has an implant in her arm for birth control, take it out and go back on pill or get tubes tied. I heard that one and being on the birth control shot can make you gain even more weight because they say they make you hungrier or I think they mess with your hormones and make your body think it’s pregnant. To Eric who says he lost more weight smoking and drinking the energy drinks and stacker pills, there was probably alot of caffeine in those drinks and maybe some type in the pills, which in turn rev up your metabolism to burn fat faster and also I heard smoking speeds it up to. So when you stopped with all that, your metabolism must have slowed back down. To me losing weight never seems like it’s that easy or fun. I used to maintain my weight at 135-160 lbs back in high school. I walked alot, roller-bladed and bike ride and usually ate what I wanted, kinda alot. Weight was lower in summer from working out outside more. Not doing as much in the winter time. But now that I am 32 and don’t work out like that anymore, I have easily got up to 246 lbs right now, I think. I was 250lbs or so. I wanna be 120lbs cause I am only 5’3″ tall. And think I am med build. I want to go and join weight watchers, but heard that might not be to easy either, but sounds like you can still eat alot of the foods you like but have to calculate your points in. And I wanna start going on my treadmill more, do speed walking, little jogging or running maybe, and maybe even weight lift with the dumb bells a little. Heard the weight lifting is what makes us burn fat more and raises metabolism more, but I think the cardio does too. That is how I shed my winter weight in the summer back then. Walking the dog more, biking, blading, I don;t recall lifting weights much. They say sometimes when you exercise, that it makes you wanna eat less too. I don’t believe in diet pills working like magic, but maybe some of them do help speed you up with proper exercise and diet. Take them I think 15-20 mins before you eat with full glass of water and before you work out to give you extra energy and more calorie burn. Good Luck to all of you!

    I used to fall for such ad all the time. You do not need pills to loss weight but determination, healthy diet, common sense and regular work outs.It will take longer but the results way better than coming from a pill.

    I din’t weigh this until I started eating fried foods all the time and so i’ve went back to eating little portions and baking all my foods and do alot od walking at work now i’m back down to my 120pounds.so it’s really simple people and if you have to do some hard cordio,and thats it for real peps.

    Ok, here’s my suggestions:
    1)8 – 8oz glasses of water each day, plus 1 more for each 25 lbs you want to lose.
    2)Cut the carbs, no potatoes, no pasta, no rice, or no breads. When carbs are eaten they are quickly converted to sugar and stored as fat.
    3)Eat only protein and produce – all meats, fish, poultry. LOTS and LOTS of fruits and veggies – fresh or frozen, canned if packed in water not syrup or anything sugary.
    4)Exercise for 30 minutes each day or 3 times a week(at the very least). Go for a walk, walk on the spot, go up and down the stairs for 30 minutes. DON’T forget to warm up first and cool down, do some stretching exercises. For the person with Fibromyalgia – enroll in an aquasize program (I have a few friends with same condition aquasize helps them).
    5)Don’t forget the fibre – not granola(high carbs), metamucil at night before bed.

    Taking an antioxidant helps alot, I suggest Resveratrol.

    If your looking for something to drink before each meal to make you feel full water won’t do it for you but milk will. Studies show that milk is like 3 times more effective than water. A glass of milk between meals will help keep the nibblies away as well.

Then I was diagnosed with cervical cancer,and had to have a complete hysterectomy.Add quitting smoking to that and wa la 50 pound weight gain.I joined a gym,work out at least three times a week for an hour.I replaced my smoke breaks at work with a brisk walk and cut out most carbs and all sugars.Yet I still can not lose.So you see, it’s not about being a Lazy Ass! Don’t judge someone if you don’t know there story.

    what can you eat if you take medicine that causes weight gain,stopped smoking,is lactose intolerant and has irritable bowle disease with diahrrea? the only thing i can eat is carbs. ihave gaines 40 pounds in less than a year. ineed help too!

    Had gastric bypass 6 years ago-lost 70-lbs.thought i would have lost more-177lbs at that point. Gained back 43-lbs. 3 years later. So at 220lbs. size 16-18,and a hysterectomy later, I asked my GYN for help. She gave me Phentermine HCL 37.5- be sure they are the oval (not the football shaped) white w/blue specs. THIS IS THE MAGIC PILL. I do go to the gym but not regularly enough. I park so I have to walk a good way every where I go. I always use steps at work. I stay busy at home-not a couch potato….I do not eat until about 11 am and that is a piece of fruit. I eat a basic salad at lunch or 2-3 times a week i have a veggie/cheese omelet. i drink lots of water, white tea, and a Sprite Zero at night time. Dinner is anything I want. I did cut out a lot of carbs.
    I am down 45-lbs at 175, 5’8″ and a size 10!!!
    My family said I shouldn’t lose anymore. I am comfortable and happy at this weight. I want to get in the gym a minimum of 3 x a week and tweek my diet a bit.
    Phentermine is great-I would recommend it for most people. It truly is the Magic Pill everyone is looking for. Some Doctor’s will not prescribe it-they think you should be able to do it on your own, or they are negative about it and say that you will just gain it back. Granted you will if you don’t get the mindset while you are losing. So mentally you have to prepare as well!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good Luck. It did take about 5 months….

    Well, going by the weight loss pill comparison it looks like DecaSlim would be the healthiest way to go. The best weight loss help I can *personally* offer is to say that 6 months or so of hauling bundles of steel studs and sheets of drywall around a job site will work miracles, it dropped about 20 pounds off me. And you won’t lose muscle-weight this way.
