Acai Berry Diet Review

acai berry dietThe Acai Berry Diet is getting quite a lot of hype due to its celebrity popularity. Celebrities such as Oprah, Rachael Ray and Dr. Oz have all given the thumbs up for this diet. The Acai Berry Diet is a unique dietary formula featuring the anti-aging superfood the Acai Berry.

There are many good benefits associated with the Acai Berry. It was been said to cleanse your system while providing added energy to help combat fatigue, ageing, reduce water weight and even claims to firm up your midsection and lots of other health concerns causing havoc on Americans today.

Paying in the upwards of $80 or more just for acai extract is ridiculous. Acai will not help you lose weight. Any Acai based diet pill is not worth your time or money. There is not one Acai pill on our 3 Best Weight Loss Pills list.

Along with that many also claim to provide a “free trial offer”. We all know that when something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

The “free trial offers” are usually only good for the first 10 to 15 days of when you place the order. If you don’t cancel before then, you will be charged that estimated $80 without any questions.

GDS's #1 Diet Pill of 2013

Apidextra has been the highest rated diet pill for 3 years. This powerful formula combines all-natural ingredients into a 100% safe and 100% guaranteed diet pill that speeds the metabolism, increases energy and burns fat!

Such a scam; was charged $49.95 ,not the $1.98 for shipping. Do not even try to get a hold of customer service! It is impossible. To make matters worse, I saw no cleasing actions nor weight loss. They need to be shut down.

I purchased the Acai Berry and noticed slight results within a few days, yet little weight loss and it’s been a month. I’m going to keep trying for a few more weeks, I feel like I can make it work. If you only want to lose a few pounds I recommend this, otherwise stick to exercise and eating right. Be careful of what they charge you on the 14th day, also.

Same exact thing happened to me AND they also included a pack of gum and some other liquid in a bottle that I didn’t order. Gave me a bit of a hassle but i finally ssent it back. haven’t seen my credit yet.

also – another free offer for COLONMED — same thing. They say I signed up to receive EVERY MONTH for a total of $88.97/month

I found both of these on OPRAHs website… wonder if she knows

This is a rip off. Signed up for order of 10 days free pills. After giving name and addr. on Pg.1 you click to add credit info PG, 2 then Postage was $4.95-I clicked to cancel and Postage dropped to $1.49 and same free pills.I took 8-10 days to rec. trial sample.I didn’t take more than one pill.If I had started taking the pills I would have had to cancel by the 3rd day. I didn’t and was charged $69.95.Can only cancel by phone. They said to go to the first page (Bottom of long Pg)terms and conditions. It’s a link to another Pg.which explains the 14 days from orig. order for 30day shipment& Charge $69.95(took 21 days to find out the charge,Terms say if you want a freebie or to lose Wt.don’t order.Security policy says they can distribute your credit card info. as they wish if you place an order.Took me at least 22 mins. to reach Them by phone. No promise to cancel $70 bill with pills I hadn’t rec. yet. This is a stall tactic to bill you again for another 30 days. One guy returned pills -he no longer gets pills, but gets monthly bills like clockwork.Others waited over an hour to make connection. One comment I saw said $40 was too much for these pills.

I signed up for the free trial and actually read the terms and conditions unlike some people here. I knew I was going to get rebilled automatically because I had to agree to those terms when I purchased. With that said I’m happy I did. Its been a month and I’ve lost 12 lbs. I’m going to keep taking Acai Berry supplements to shed another 8-10 lbs. Anyway people … read it’s all there.

They have these pills in the vitamin shoppe and GNC, I would recommend if anyone wants to try them, go there, at least you won’t be billed and get automatic shipping if the product doesn’t work for you.

The “cleansing effects” developed while I was teaching. I had quite a time waiting for recess. Not a pleasant experience. Then, I forgot to cancel and was charged $90 from my bank account. When I called, they said there was no way to get my money back. They canceled future shipments and charges but absolutely refused to give me any refunds whatsoever. What legitimate company does that?

    Hi Everyone,
I think this company is a scam. I ordered this product and was automatically signed up for a program that cost $29.95 and I never authorized this to be charged to my credit card. Yes, you have 30 days to cancel your product the only thing is that they don’t send you your product until it’s too late to cancel and you get stuck with it whether you like it or not. Just be careful when you order anything from the internet…..

Not only is this a complete SCAM for money. Charging you weeks before product even arrives….

When I did try it for only a week, and used as directed. At my Birthday dinner almost passed out. I was so dizzy for hours, I couldn’t eat. Oh maybe that’s why you lose weight… too dizzy to eat. When I finally got my barrings and ate some food, I felt a little better. But later in on my drive back home, I almost passed out. Everything went dark for 1 sec. Thank God I was at a stop light.

I stopped taking the pills and felt back to normal about 3 days later.

DO NOT TAKE THIS STUFF. It’s dangerous, and the “company” is Just a Rip-OFF.

Check out the product, if you excercise and eat right. It takes time if you are not consistant with the way you eat and how active you’re life style is. If you all read the terms and conditions you would know all about this. Honestly it is your own fault for being “scammed” as you but it. These sites explain everything in the terms and conditions. I’ll explain why. If they did not disclose any of this stuff, they wouldn’t still be selling the product. Because at first I thought I TOO was being “scammed” i went to all the acai supplement sites I could find and found that they ALL say in the terms that is was an autoship, that you have 14 days to call and cancel. They also gave the names and phone numbers of the other places that your information was given to. I have called all the places I was charged from and they cancelled everything. They were all very nice, though be patient, sometimes it takes awhile to get through. You guys HAVE to read these terms. That is the consumers job.

Also don’t be mad because you saw no results. The same diet does not work for everyone. If it has not worked for you then either your body is rejecting it or you are not dieting when taking the supplement. You cant eat whatever you want. Make sure you are drinking 8-10 glasses of water a day and are taking the pills at the same time everyday. You have to build up a system of it before it starts working so it give it a week or so.

I found that normal over the counter diet pills can curve your appetite and just start eating more healthier and definitely excercise. i have been working on my healthier diet for two weeks and found some weight change.

You all should know better not to buy into these diet pills on the internet, especially products that are only available on the internet – it’s for good reason, you’ll never get money back, you’ll never talk to anyone who cares, and now they have your credit card and personal information! As a pharmacy tech, I see many people who take these “too good to be true” diet pills off the internet and if sent to a lab, contains ingredients that will threaten your life, especially if it interacts with medications you are on like cough medicines, birth control pills, etc. Do NOT buy off the internet, if you wanna get suckered into the diet pill craze, then go to your local drugstore, health store or GNC to buy their “amazing get thin quick pills”. They won’t continue to charge you, they do not have your credit card or personal info. Then if they don’t work, at least you aren’t out a lot of money!

    ****ALERT LADIES****
DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING OFFLINE (INTERNET)…THAT YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH.. SUCH AS SEARS,GNC,REDBOOK, GHKEEPING, ETC… YOU GET THE PICTURE. THESE COMPANIES WHO POST THESE ADS… NO MATTER WHAT THE PRODUCT IS *FREE TRIAL.. THEN WHAT EVER ELSE THERE POLICY IS, DO NOT EXIST. THESE SO CALLED COMPANIES ARE SET UP OVERSEAS IN A HOTEL OR WHEREVER AND THEY SALE YOUR DEBIT/CREDIT/CHECKING ACCT # TO OTHER NON EXISTANT COMPANIES. BY THE TIME YOU SEE YOUR BANK STATEMENT OR CK YOUR BALANCE THEY HAVE ALREADY STOLEN HUNDREDS OR THOUSANDS FROM YOU. IF YOU CALL THE PHONE #’S THEY ARE EITHER BUSY, DISCONNECTED OR DO NOT EXIST. MOST OF THE TIME THEY LIST IT ON YOUR BANK STATEMENT AS “BUSINESS SOURCE.” ALSO THE BANK HAS IT AS A “HOLD” BUT IS STILL TAKEN OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT. IF YOU HAVE BEEN TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF DO THIS:
GO BACK TO THE SITE WHERE YOU ORDERED YOUR PRODUCT AND WRITE DOWN ALLL OF THE COMPANIES INFORMATION. PHONE NUMBERS ARE VERY IMPORTANT. NEXT… CALL THE FIRST NUMBER AND SEE WHO YOU GET CONNECTED WITH AND GET ALL OF THEIR INFORMATION AND TELL THEM YOU DID NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM AND THIS IS FRAUD. GET THE AGENTS #, CODE, ETC.. DO THIS UNTIL IT ENDS. THEN GO TO YOUR BANK WITH ALL OF THE INFORMATION. THEY WILL CREDIT YOUR ACCT BACK THE FUNDS AND DO AND INVESTIGATION. IF THE FACTS YOU HAVE GIVEN YOUR BANK COMES BACK AS TRUE.. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REPAY BACK THE BANK…. YOU RECEIVED YOUR MONEY BACK AND DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM A COMPANY YOU DO NOT KNOW. OR CALL THE BBB AND SEE IF THE ARE REAL…I WAS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF… I AM SO FAMILIAR WITH SOME OF YOUR STORIES… SO PLEASE PASS THIS ALONG TO YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS, COWORKERS, CHURCH FAMILY. I got charged $87.13 for the product. It was charged 14 days after I ordered it. However, I did not receive it for another week and a half. I called the company because I felt like it was unfair to offer a 14 day trial period, but not give you the product until the trial period was over. Yes, it may say that in the fine print, but that is immoral.

As far as the product goes, I’ve been taking it for 2 weeks. I don’t notice any side effects and I also haven’t lost any weight. I don’t notice a dang difference. I wouldn’t recommend the product.

I just ordered acai berry diet about 1 hour ago after reading all the complaints i cancelled that same hour stupid me should of read ALL terms & conditions they do give all your info to a third party including your credit card and the third party will charge you, even customer service will tell you that so i havde decided just to cancel my atm debit card so they cant. be careful with those 3rd parties, those people must have no conscience to get over on others, lesson to be learned for me!! I can just kick my self.

Luckily I read all these reviews because a few weeks ago I was intending on trying these tablets. Luckily I decided not to do it. I think we get caught up with all these celebrity diets and forget to really look into it. I think this is a lesson for us all and will let my friends know about the reviews made on this site so that they don’t get scammed to. I’m going to try the Liprotrim which really do work (from experience)!!

This Acai Berry Diet Scam is one of the biggest frauds out there. Just Google the words “Diet Frauds” or “Acai Berry”
and see what you get. WOW !

If you go for their Postage Only trial offer for only $4.99, you will be surprised in 15 days if you don’t reply to how
wonderful their product is, your sample will be very quietly charged at $78.81 and you will then be sent another 60 tabs
    and charged $83.80.

Then what they tell you is that when you agreed to the Postage Sample, you also agreed to being charged $78.81
for that Sample bottle, if you did not reply in 15 days, and then receive a bottle every month at $ 83.80 per bottle.
Had that been obvious on the web site when ordering, I would never have ordered the Postage Only offer.

Just try to cancel this deal if you can connect to one of the 8 phone numbers you get directed to. They will tell you
they cannot find your zip code, your name, your order number, your phone number, or anything about you.
Try to have it canceled and they will spend at least 10 minutes to smooth talk you into staying with it and offer to
    discount the whole thing,

I found out 2 months later that they did notify you of the dirty little secrets in a little background LINK at the bottom of
the page. Which was long after you already ordered the Postage Offer. I wish I was smart enough to go to Google
and type in the words “Diet Frauds or “Acai Berry” What an education !

If you go to “GRETA.COM” , you will usually find two Diet Linked ads. Click on them and you will find they know what
town you are from,”Bishop Calif” in my case. What you see is the EXACT same ad with, the EXACT same testimonials,
with the EXACT same pictures, BUT with two different names; “Hi, I am Tamara (Laredo) from Bishop Calif” and
“Hi, I am Kim Bartley from Bishop Calif”

I have lived here over 35 years. Bishop is a small town. There IS NO name “Bartley” or “Laredo” in the two
    Bishop phone books !

On or about Jan 17th 09 I ordered a bottle of Acai Berry diet pills. FREE, Pay only the postage of $.499
It was bulled to my MasterCard on Jan 20th and I received them a few days later.

Then on March 2nd I received another bottle to my surprise. I checked my MasterCard account and found they had
charged me $83.80 for that bottle, When I checked the account further I found they had charged me $78.81 for the
first FREE TRIAL Bottle on Feb 4th. And also the Free Offer Postage ONLY of $4.99 on Feb 20th.

In other words; They charged me $4.99 and $78.81 for the so called Postage Only Trial Bottle. And then
they sent me another bottle and charged me $83.80

I went to the WEB and found several pages of FRAUD CLAIMS on these people.
    “Advanced Wellness Research Inc.”
    #3-17th Ave South
    Nampa ID 83651 1-866-964-1011
I first called the phone number Web Site and was continually sent to 7 other different phone numbers.
They even hung up on me. and/or put me on hold for as long as 8 to 10 minutes.

I wanted to just cancel and stop any further charges to my account. Boy ! did they give me the trouble.
COULDN’T DO THAT ! I gave them my email address, my name, the order number, my zip code, They could not find
any of that in their records.

Finally after an hour of calling and arguing to their 7 different phone numbers they agreed to stop the shipments and
charging my account. They would not take the new unused bottle I just received March 2nd.

After reading all ofthis I feel awful. I wanted to try their “Free trial” Those people waited 2 weeks to send the pills then I only had 2 weeks to try them.. Now they are trying to take 80.00 from my bank account. I had to Cancel my bank card, and I requested a stop payment. I was very surprised to learn that so many people where having the same problem as myself. Funny thing about those packages they tell you if you are dissatified to return it but it is clear they will not accept any returns, says so on the package…. WHAT A JOKE!!!

i cancelled my order right away after i signed up for the trial, so i only got one bottle (which is what i wanted)
i’ve been taking them for about a week… although i forget to take them now and then. i’ve noticed that when they’re in my system i get very dizzy. i first noticed it getting into my car to go out to lunch with a friend. we had to sit for a couple minutes to wait for me to feel better. i took one this morning and right now i feel like i’m car-sick. dizzy and slightly nauseous. i’m not sure whether i’ll keep on these or not if this keeps up… i’ve lost a pound or two but gained it back pretty quick.

This IS a scam! I read all the instructions and all I have received is the sample, for which I paid shipping and handling as charged to my credit card. However, my credit card has been charged twice for product, which I cancelled within the confines of their parameters, and I didn’t receive product, which I didn’t want anyway.

Fortunately, the credit card Customer Service Dep’t. has taken care of reversing all charges but the legitimate one.
When I called Natures Best today, after much haggling and gnashing of teeth, I was told by the young man in Customer Service that the two monthly charges would be reversed as well as a charge for $2.95. When I asked what the $2.95 charge was for, I was told that it was either a set up or cancellation fee. I told him that there better not be another charge to my credit card.
I also told him that I had to send another dispute to my credit card company along with a letter and that I would be sending copies of both letters and disputes along to the Attorney General for the State of Texas.

    I was suckered into paying S & H also.
I took the Acai, Bromolite etc. for 2 weeks.
One night while watching TV, I made a mad dash for the toilet. Unfortunately, my bathroom was a mess; I didn’t make the “john” in time….cleaned the bathroom, rolled up the rugs, took a shower (I was a mess as well).
Back to TV show; another like “attack”….diarrhea is easy compared to this “bowel cleansing” crap…my card is still disputing the $84.94 charge; CRS for other two items kindly cancelled my orders and I refused the additonal ones I got in the mail thereafter! Had to get a new card because of the charges that didn’t stop!
My doctor said there isn’t ANY quick weight loss JUNK that works! He is right…..

Does Acai Berry work??? Yes & No!! I ordered, took Acai Berry Detox along with their Nature Cleanse. Yes, I did loose 7 pounds in 5 days. However, I could not sleep, I was very shakey, and my blood pressure was elevated 183 over 148 (WOW!!!) I have NEVER had blood pressure problems in my life.I recently found out that an aunt of one of my daughters friends, went into KIDNEY FAILURE from Acai Berry. The conclusion that Acai Berry was the caseu, came from 2 different doctors. I would love to drop some weight, but I will work out a balanced low calorie diet, and exercise as much as possible. A safe weight loss is 1-2 lbs per week, no more. AND YES folks, you can buy Acai Berry 1000mg (by: Natures Bounty) in drug stores–$9.99 for a bottle of 60.

One more thing—I don’t advise them to mess with my credit card nor refuse a refund to me of MY money. I won’t waste time on the phone fighting with them nor playing mail tag. I will simply let the Judge or one of the 9 attornies that I work for take care of it for me. Did you folks know that if you receive something through the U.S. Postal Service that you did not order, it is yours to keep—FREE OF CHARGE—then flush the Acai Berry—DO NOT LET THEM KEEP YOUR MONEY—they are making millions off of this SCAM!!!!!!!!!

They would not list my comment on the adverse reactions I had to Acai Berry—or about another woman my daughter knows going into Kidney failure after taking Acai Berry–VERY VERY DISTURBING. Sure I lost 7 pounds in 5 days, but I want to remain healthy and not feel the way this product made me feel. NOT GOOD!!! A healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week (no more). I value my life more than this. It is a low calorie diet and exercise for me. If you try this product—PLEASE be careful!!!

I must admit, I was totally pissed when I got charged before my pills came. I cussed errbody out at the company and vowed to take them on. After I received the pills I said what the hell, I got em, I may as well take them. Was not expecting major results but I was surprised to lose 4 lbs btwn Satuday and Tuesday (same week). I have been taking them for abot 10 days now, and they work. I’m really glad they did work, cause I was about to bust a vessel. That’s just how mad I was. I am still angry about the charges, but what the hell.. I should have read the agreement further. Also, to the people who say they have not seen any results, you do have to change your diet a lil.. The pills will do their part, but dang, you can’t eat a large pizza, take the pill, and expect it to work a miracle on you.. That’s just common sense guys…
